Connecting Everyone, Everywhere

As mobile devices have become increasingly prevalent and necessary, it has become a priority to provide reliable Wi-Fi and cellular service to all users within a workplace. This can be done through the installation of Wireless Access Points and Distributed Antenna Systems.

Wireless Access Points

Wi-Fi is a network that allows for internet connectivity throughout a building for both corporate and privately-owned devices. It enables employees to connect to the company network from anywhere in the office.

Wireless Access Points (WAPs) are installed based on the structure and design of the building or area in which it is located. A survey of the building/campus is the first step in determining the ideal quantity, placement and configuration of APs for a successful wireless LAN Deployment.

Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)

In-Building Cellular and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) refer to the technology that is used to rebroadcast cellular and other RF signals within a building, or multiple buildings. A DAS solution allows the signals to reach mobile devices so that cellular calls can be made from indoors. TRiCOM works with top integrators in the industry to engineer and install a wireless solution to meet your specific requirements.

Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) include the following, performed by our team of technical field and partner personnel:

  • Site Survey and Needs Analysis to validate RF coverage requirements.
  • RF Design & Engineering to include the recommended solution for the facility.
  • Installation by trained Technicians, who have a complete understanding of the DAS installation requirements.
  • Integration and Turn-up to ensure all Federal Communication Commission (FCC) requirements are met.

Public Safety DAS

Public safety DAS provides coverage for first responders in all parts of a building to allow them to use their emergency radios seamlessly. A public safety DAS solution can be required to get a certificate of occupancy for a new or renovated building and to meet the national fire protection association codes mandated by the authority having jurisdiction.

Small Cell Technology

A small cell solution is a series of connected small antennas that transmit a carrier specific cellular signal within a building. Small cell systems can be deployed for a single carrier, while DAS solutions can be deployed for up to 4 carriers.
